Patrick Fertitta is the Director of Fertitta Entertainment, the parent company of the Houston Rockets, Landry's restaurants, and Golden Nugget Hotels and Casinos. Fertitta Entertainment is a global leader in dining, hospitality, entertainment, and gaming, operating over 600 properties worldwide. This includes more than 60 award-winning restaurant brands and employs over
50,000 people. In his role, Patrick collaborates with executive teams across the Rockets, Landry's, and Golden Nugget to drive innovation, develop business strategies, and foster growth.
He also serves as an Alternate Governor for the Houston Rockets, actively participating in both business and basketball operations. He collaborates closely with the Business Operations team on strategic initiatives, including marketing, branding, fan engagement, roster construction, and team development. As well as representing the team at NBA league meetings. In 2024, Patrick was named to The Athletic's “NBA 40 Under 40” list, recognizing the top young leaders in the NBA league.
Recently, he was appointed by Governor Greg Abbott to the University of Houston System Board of Regents. He volunteers as a sponsor for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Houston. Patrick frequently co-hosts charitable initiatives with his family, supporting organizations such as the Clutch City Foundation, Houston Children's Charity, and the Houston Police Foundation.
Patrick earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business before returning to his hometown of Houston.
