Abigail Smith believed that she already had enough toys so she wanted to do something special for others.  With this thought in mind, Abigail asked those attending her birthday party to bring back to school items.  She got an amazing response from her friends and collected over 100 items.  At the end of the party Abigail had notebooks, crayons, erasers, scissors, glue, lunch kits, pencil and pencil bags.  Abigail’s mom, Megan, contacted Houston Children’s Charity to set up a delivery date for her donation to our “Back 2 School” program.  On the Monday after school let out for the summer, Abigail came to our offices to drop off the donation.  She just hopes the kids love all their new supplies.  We are sure they will!  THANKS Abigail for having such a big heart!
