On Saturday August 15, 2015 Houston Children’s Charity teamed up with The Rod Ryan Show from 94.5 The Buzz and BullShirts to begin the scholastic preparation for Houston area families and agencies.  Over 4100 underprivileged children were handed a backpack and supplies to begin the 2015-2016 school year on the right foot.

For a 6^th year in a row, the hard work from this duo has made this event a success and we were beyond LUCKY to have them as our gracious sponsors. Their incredible efforts set NEW records, in 2015, as we were able to distribute backpacks with age appropriate supplies to over 850 deserving & approved families.  Students from Harris, Ft. Bend, Galveston, Brazoria and Montgomery counties, which applied for our “Back2School”program, will walk into school – Day 1 – ready to learn.
