On April 17, 2019, Houston Children’s Charity awarded 15 wheelchair-accessible vehicles through its renowned Chariots for Children program.

HCC President & CEO, Laura Ward, alongside long-time HCC friend Patrick Fertitta proudly introduced each van recipient while presenting the keys to the individual family’s brand-new van. The event, which took place at HCC Chairman of the Board Tilman J. Fertitta’s Willie G’s Post Oak.

Since its inception in 1996, Houston Children’s Charity has raised over $6 Million for the program and has awarded over 180 vehicles to 94 agencies and 111 individual families.
