An Update from Houston Children’s Charity.

At Houston Children’s Charity, our number one priority is always the children we serve. Although some of our programs are temporarily postponed due to COVID-19 and social distancing, our team continues to assist Houston’s special children.  We still review applications, as well as answer any questions and concerns you may have on a daily basis. In addition, we are preparing for our next “A Better Night’s Sleep” bed distribution and “Back2School” backpack and school supply program. We will schedule these services as soon as our great City states that it is safe to do so.
If you or someone you know is in need please go to our website houstonchildrenscharity.org to fill out an application today. Learn more about our program services below.

Programs

A Better Night’s Sleep. This one-of-a-kind program provides brand new twin-sized bed-sets for children ages 4-18. The set includes a mattress, bed frame, foundation, sheets, pillow, and a blanket.

HCC Closet. Our closet provides gently-used clothing, shoes, and accessories. This program was designed to provide a positive experience for parents to shop with their children and for themselves at the same time. There is never a cost for our families.

Chariots for Children. This unique program is dedicated to providing safe and efficient transportation to families of disabled, wheelchair-bound children through handicapped accessible vans.

Back2School. Our distributions provide backpacks full of age-appropriate school supplies for children. Thanks to our partnership with The Rod Ryan Show for the past 11 years, this program provides thousands of school-aged children with the foundation needed for academic success.
Registration opens on May 1, 2020!
